Harper Obsidian extension is much slower than lsp server

In my experience the Harper-ls in Neovim takes ~2 seconds to load; however for obsidian it takes around double that? is there any reason for this and am I posting in the right place?

My guess is it's because harper-ls is native code and Obsidian uses the harper.js version which is wasm.

Yup. That's probably why it takes twice as long as harper-ls. The real question is why harper-ls take two full seconds to load. @DockterTeagle, can you give us any insight into your config or hardware?

To be more exact it takes two seconds for diagnostics to show up approximately. it is in Neovim and I don't know how to get it to say exactly when the LspDiagnostics show up.

I'm not a neovim user but I've noticed in VS Code that it takes longer for diagnostics to show up on longer files.

How does it compare vs other LPSs in neovim or between very short files and very long ones?

This is from file open to diagnostics show, it is possible that the LSP server loads stupid fast, but that something before that is much slower. It is an acceptable amount of delay In my opinion. It is not nixd or God-forbid Language tool bad. Those two are in my experience the worst. The next level up is basedpyright which takes ~3secs to load and have diagnostics post. Then there is everything else: TY,Ruff,and Harper all seem to take around the same time.
