Files in data/source/?

I saw class files for Stage.hx and MenuButton.hx in data/source/... in a mod I won't speak of, and I was wondering...

A) how does that work
B) I couldn't find "source" in a repo search, so how does the engine recognize files in that folder?

My best guess is that those are just custom classes, based on the wiki. I'm unsure of the specifics, since there's not really any need to use that folder in most cases, but the engine does seem to recognize it through this system.

just as a heads up, 'data/source' doesnt exist. you just would have a 'source' folder in the mod root.

its in 'mods/yourmod/source'

not 'mods/yourmod/data/source'
