  This hasn't been prioritized yet, but this is something that we think really should happen. In order for it to really happen it needs to be moved into a tangible milestone. So putting it here means it's probably longer timescale than the existing milestones. As it isn't a more immediate priority, or we don't have the bandwidth to handle it, but we do think it's important to do at least long term. In many cases it's something we'd like to do NOW, but know it's not important enough to do immediately in order to get the true near term priorities done. In Scrum Agile Software Development Methodology (SDM) terminology this is something in the "Backlog".

  Freeze for the list of scientifically supported compsets for CTSM for I compsets Sp FatesNoComp FatesSP MizuRoute Hillslope all need to be frozen for answer changes by this date. Bgc and BgcCrop already frozen in beta08 We will allow non-standard things that are default off to change answers. But, everything that will affect CTSM simulations MUST not-change answers without approval.

• cesm3.0.0 release branch tag

  This is the tag on the ctsm6.0 release-cesm3.0 branch (from release-ctsm6.0) that will be used in the actual CESM3.0.0 release given to the public. Science MUST be ALL done at this point. Limited Bug fixes approved by the entire CESM project and CESM SSC is required for anything that changes answers.
