Just starting to experiment with Astro myself, and this thread really resonates — RetroUI’s bold Neobrutalist look feels like a refreshing complement to Astro’s performance-first design philosophy. Since RetroUI currently supports React and Next.js, I could see Astro’s React renderer being a good bridge for early integration.

I’m particularly curious how RetroUI’s primitives might map to Astro’s slot-based layout and partial hydration model. If anyone’s been using AI tools like Copilot or DeepSeek to prototype Astro–RetroUI workflows, would love to compare notes. Always up for pushing cross-framework UI experiments forward together.
