Description
Summary
New VISTA report type that pulls active Jira issues by product team and presents a visual overview of current work, grouped by initiative/epic, with status distribution and blockers highlighted.
User Stories
- As a PM, I want to ask "What's the MySQL team working on?" and get a visual dashboard of active work.
- As an engineer on the Operators team, I want to see what MySQL is shipping so I can plan my integration work.
- As a leader (Peter Farkas), I want to see team progress without logging into Jira or scheduling a meeting.
Data Source
Jira (already live via Claude MCP connection). No new connectors needed.

Report Contents
- Active issues grouped by epic/initiative (Binlog Server, Vector Support, KMIP, ProxySQL 3.0, MySQL 9.7, etc.)
- Status distribution chart (To Do / In Progress / In Review / Done)
- Sprint/cycle progress (if sprint data available)
- Blockers and high-priority items highlighted
- Filterable by: team, product line, individual engineer, date range
Visualization
Recharts (React) or Chart.js (HTML). Percona brand colors.
Acceptance Criteria
- User can ask "What's the MySQL team working on?" and get a visual report
- Report pulls live data from Jira via MCP
- Grouped by epic/initiative with status breakdown
- Blockers are visually highlighted
- Filterable by team and product line
