Summary
New VISTA report showing active issue count and (when available) story point distribution by engineer, highlighting overloaded individuals and surfacing unassigned/backlog depth.
User Stories
- As an engineering manager (Julia), I want to see workload distribution across my team before sprint planning.
- As a PM, I want to identify overloaded engineers before assigning new work.
- As a leader, I want to understand team capacity at a glance.
Data Source
Jira (already live via Claude MCP connection).
Report Contents
- Active issue count per engineer (bar chart)
- Story point distribution per engineer (if story points are used)
- Overload highlighting (configurable threshold, e.g., >10 active issues)
- Unassigned issue count and backlog depth by project
- Comparison across teams (MySQL eng vs QA vs docs)
Team Roster (MySQL pilot)
14 Engineering (reports to Julia Vural), 8 QA (reports to Hrvoje Matijakovic), 2 Docs (reports to Dennis Kittrell). Total: 24 people.
Acceptance Criteria
- User can ask "How loaded is the MySQL team?" and get a visual workload report
- Shows per-engineer active issue count
- Highlights overloaded individuals
- Shows unassigned/backlog depth
