Found out this which is quite optimistic.

We encountered an error where it seemingly blocked some of our pvcs from creating.
In one of our namespaces, there was an existing aaw-unclassified pvc and we got errors from the controller reporting that
error syncing 'ohsp-pssb': persistentvolumeclaims "aaw-unclassified" already exists, requeuing and it seemingly would not progress.
At the very least, the other pvcs would not get created until we restarted the deployment after which it ran into the same error again. That was then resolved by deleting the problematic pvc
