Image size are limited by the width of the editor or the columns size.

Describe the solution you'd like
Add an icon to image element so that the image can be shown in a large viewer.
The user should be able to close the image viewer by clicking on a x on the interface or hitting escape.

@virgile-dev how would you see this? A light-box kinda view that sits on top of a dimmed background (document)?

Would be nice if this can be even more frictionless:
either achieved by:

• clicking/dbl clicking (achieving feature parity with other tools).
• using a keyboard shortcut (spacebar?) for full accessibility
