Description
I clicked on the 'OpenCode v1.14.39 Update available' notification as usual. And as usual it closed and reopened. However, this v1.14.39 update available popup doesn't disappear as it would after a successful update.
Then I opened the settings and I see in the bottom left part of the Settings popup that I'm apparently still running OpenCode v1.14.33 ?? (see screenshot)
Please fix this update issue in OpenCode Desktop.
Also from a security standpoint, please consider providing updates through the Ubuntu apt update route just like Antigravity and Codex do.
Plugins
None, just the base OpenCode desktop
OpenCode version
v1.14.33 | v1.14.38 | v1.14.39 ?
Steps to reproduce
idk man, maybe install the v1.14.33 or v1.14.38 and try to update using the popup in OpenCode desktop?
Screenshot and/or share link
Operating System
Ubuntu 25.10
Terminal
None, I'm using the OpenCode desktop app
