Describe the enhancement you want to request

It would be helpful to have UI that allows to find a project, I've already added. I'm aware, that I might be in an extreme position with many projects, but it's really hard to find them or even know, if I already added them.

I'm aware, that we can just add the folder again and it will figure it out, but it would be nice, if there was an easier path.

#30535 asks for a list of projects, which has been added in the V2 interface rewrite. (minus the paths)

This is asking for a search box to filter through these.

Thanks for clarifying the scope vs #30535 — that helps a lot. I'd like to work on this if it's still open. Could you assign it to me?

As I understand it, the ask here is narrower than a full project browser (since that's covered by the V2 list): it's specifically a search/filter input on top of the existing added-projects list, plus surfacing the project path in that list (not just the name), so users can actually tell whether a folder is already added instead of scrolling/guessing.

Planned approach:

Add a search input above the project list that filters by name and path as you type (debounced, client-side).
Update the list items to display the path alongside the name.
Optionally highlight matching text in results.
No backend changes needed — this filters the existing project registry data.

I'll post a short technical proposal / mockup here before opening a PR, in case you want to weigh in on the approach first.
