New inter-workflow dependency visual

I'm interested in taking a go at implementing a new view or augmenting the existing 'event flow' visual.

As it is now, it shows event flows from sources thru sensors and into historic workflows:

This is pretty good, however as you can see with workflows accumulating it becomes horizontally unsatisfying. What I'd like is a new (or option in current view) to just show workflows and their 'triggered by' edges - much like the graph view of nodes inside a single workflow.

We've accumulated a good number of workflows that are triggered by other workflows and that trickles down. The fact there are sensors attached to each is not very relevant - so just getting a good 'summary' of workflows as nodes and what other workflows are triggers to them would help gain a higher level understanding of the composite DAG as it were composed of many workflows.

So question is, would you be open to such a feature. I think I'd be willing to take an initial attempt at it at some point in the coming weeks/months.

I'd be open to such a feature - please could you elaborate further with a design of what you'd intend it to look like once you're finished.

Thanks. Here's a diagram of roughly what I was thinking. Note that this is sort of only concentrating on workflows triggered by other workflows, but one could imagine the nodes just being the domain of the triggering event. That is so say here I have those triggering nodes as workflows, but could also have been "my s3 bucket PUT event" - mostly dumbing down the view to get a higher view of the composite 'DAG' that workflows can create given context of who's triggering them, and who they are in turn triggering.
