[Task]: RK3588: VOP2/HDMI display driver support for boot logo on NanoPC-T6?

Board/SoC

• Board: FriendlyELEC NanoPC-T6 LTS
• SoC: Rockchip RK3588
• U-Boot version: v2026.01-rc2 (Armbian build)

What I'm trying to achieve

Display a boot logo via HDMI during U-Boot using the bmp display command.

Current status

I've enabled video/BMP support in defconfig:

=> dm uclass
...
uclass 133: video
uclass 134: video_bridge
uclass 135: vidconsole0
=>

No video device is probed. coninfo confirms no vidconsole - only serial output.

Question

Is there a working VOP2/HDMI display driver for RK3588 in mainline U-Boot, or is this still work-in-progress?

I noticed FriendlyELEC's vendor U-Boot (based on Rockchip BSP, branch nanopi6-v2017.09) has working HDMI output. Are there plans to upstream the RK3588 display drivers?
