Which GHC are recommended now?

There are documented performance issues with past GHC versions. Is this up-to-date?

Is GHC 9.12.4 (latest stackage) safe to use with Streamly (highest performance?)

There are no significant performance issues other than GHC 9.0 . All recent compilers are good and tested. Though there are some micro-benchmark result fluctuations which is usual for any compiler release, they are mostly for keeping track of what has scope to improve further and if there are any deeper GHC issues to investigate. On macro performance level you can use any compiler and if you find any performance issues specifically with your use cases please report and we will fix it.
