Why is Visual D breaking not D projects?

I tried to build sumatrapdf and got

C:\Program Files (x86)\VisualD\msbuild\dcompile.targets(382,11): error MSB4057: The target "ComputeLinkImportLibraryOutputsForClean" does not exist in the project.

note that I built this project many months ago without issues. I removed VisualD and the error went away.

That target is used as a hook into the link process. It is assumed to exist for VS 17.8 or before.

What versions of Visual Studio and Visual D are you using?

Microsoft Visual Studio Enterprise 2022 (64-bit) - Current
Version 17.14.7

Not sure what VisualD I was using. I think 1.5 or whatever it was but could have been 1.2 because I tried several versions with the other problem of it crashing VS when loading D projects. Pretty sure it was 1.5 though.

I don't see the failure with VS 17.14.25.

The version check in dcompile.targets was adapted with Visual D 1.4.0, so it would be great if you could double check whether it actually appears with a recent version for you.
