Where are we going to document this?

As our version of the demonstrator drifts in and out of phase with the mainline one - where do we keep up to date docs?

We can't keep the federated analytics website up to date with what we are up to so should we maybe document in this repo?

I think I would vote for a proper readme with a deployment guide etc

There is a question whether the demonstrator is worth maintaining long term. Docs should all be in one place though.

Yeah looking forward to having that chat - my feeling is that there will always be a use for a demonstrator where the installation guide doesn't start with "create a kubernetes cluster"

Ideally, I would like people who just want to have a look at this to see what it is about and try it with a couple of colleagues before committing to setting up a proper instance, to be able to do a one liner install or similar

Discussed in today's WP leads/tech standup call - kubernetes support is not coming until after June (staff upskilling in k8s currently), so we will focus documentation/onboarding material on the existing Docker stack

Let's add markdown documents to this repository for our working notes - but add more generally useful notes to the central documentation website.
