Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I use the application on Linux. (I completely understand that I am far from being your typical use case, so please bear with me.)
Given I use Linux, and given how new the 10.0 runtime is, I am currently left in the dark on my ability to make use of this until I find a tool which gives users access to the 10.0 runtime.
My machine is too slow to run Windows safely, and it's definitely too slow to run a VM in Linux, so having some kind of path of entry in the meantime would be immensely helpful to me.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would really appreciate it if the builds compatible with the 3.0 update of Animal Crossing temporarily re-added support for .NET Core Desktop 9.0.
Note: Requesting new editing features that require research are not Feature Requests. This is only for improving interactions and/or leveraging the current code in new/interesting ways.
Describe alternatives you've considered
- Switching to Windows (not currently possible for me)
- Running the app in a VM (also not currently possible for me)
- Finding a tool that supports .NET Core Desktop 10.0 (closest I've come is Bottles - see Additional context for a link)
