I built Cloud Alter Ego (https://cloudalterego.cafeboon.com), a remote MCP connector that gives every AI chat your rules, profile, contexts, journals and playbooks. They are stored as plain Markdown files in your own OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, GitHub or Azure DevOps, and the server does not keep the content.
You connect it once per client with OAuth. It exposes nine tools: start, open_context, log, remember, new_context, list_files, read_file, write_file and choose_repo. For agent builders that means an agent can begin a session by loading the user's own rules and context from files the user owns, instead of a memory store in your own backend.
