Branch does not exist locally popup (and it doesn't go away)

Steps to Reproduce:

Not sure exactly, but it might be connected to rate limiting? There are a lot of errors in the console:

After switching from a branch back to the main branch, the popup occurred. When closing the popup, it unfortunately occurs again right after the next branch switch or commit.

Expected behaviour:

Closing the "Branch does not exist" popup closes it

Actual Behaviour

Closing the "Branch does not exist" popup doesn't work, it pops up again after the next branch checkout or commit. Only after restarting vscode, it seems work normally again.

Yes, related to rate limit being hit :( Do you know what you were doing when the rate limit was hit?

Thanks for looking into this.

I was working as normal: Main Branch -> Create a new branch -> Do some changes -> Commit -> Pull Request -> Main Branch again.

I think I did many changes in a small time so a rate limiting error would seem expected / okay to me.

Only the popup "Branch does not exist locally" doesn't seem expected and that the popup occurred quite often (basically after every git operation).

This will be rough to verify as it would involve exhausting your rate limit at the right moment.
