[FR] Allow working without creating a worktree first

Hey there!

Really great idea, Ghostty is the best terminal out there but with the git sidebar you're adding and the ability to track all running agents it's even better. Thank you for this :)

I usually have lots of projects and I have changes done on the original folder, worktrees add unnecessary friction for my work so I hope it would be possible to add the ability to work without needing to create a worktree.

I've heard other similar requests, so will think about how this might work. Were you still envisioning pinned projects in the sidebar or did you expect more arbitrary terminal windows?
