Using this lib in a pure ESNext/Node16 project is not possible. see #1346

My and @attilaorosz created almost 1:1 replacement for routing-controllers called Vercube.
It supports ESNext, ESM and many more :)

You can use the new version 3 of my fork routing-controllers-extended. It features esm and cjs builds and is running on top of express 5 or koa 3.
