With the experimental filter list enabled, YouTube endcards do not appear. This issue is not present with the experimental filter list/uBO entirely disabled. Tested on a blank Firefox Nightly 144 profile (also present on FF Dev 143.0b9), with ETP both on and off. uBO 1.66.4 installed unsigned from GitHub, first encountered issue on "1.66.1b0".

Ah, I found out what it was. I had enabled Hardware acceleration because I was experiencing screen tearing on other video platforms, but that seems to break Youtube now with uBO, although in the default profile that is enabled as well, so really not sure now.

Can confirm that hardware acceleration breaks it, I've been having the same issue with loading and buffering being mega throttled but turning hardware accel off fixed it.

EDIT: Nope, nevermind that did not fix it. Still getting very throttled with uBO, with or without hardware accel.

Apparently a recent uAssets update is causing uBo to block YouTube view counting. Is that intentional? In my opinion uBo shouldn't block transparent same-site tracking (for example, if a page shows the number of views at the bottom, the average user would expect their views to increment that count and uBo shouldn't block that)

EDIT: should I create a separate issue? I'm confused how a comment can be "off-topic" when the title is "ALL YouTube issues", unless it's been deemed not to be an issue?

Hi. I'm experiencing a random issue when playing videos: a black screen with a spinning buffering wheel. Then, a message pops up saying "Experiencing interruptions? Find out why". After a while, approximately 5 seconds or more, the video begins to play.

Tested in two browsers: Chrome (x64) stable release version 140.0.7339.208 and Firefox (x64) stable release version 143.0.1. The browsers were run under different accounts. A new profile was also created (without signing in) in both browsers. The issue remains unresolved. The new profile only included uBlock Origin 1.66.4 extensions with an updated filter list and default settings.

I tried installing Violentmonkey and adding a script, but it didn't work. I use a DNS with filtering/blocking capabilities (DOT in the router), but after removing it and installing a regular DNS from my provider, the problem persisted (I cleared the DNS cache in Windows and the browser).

I can't provide a link to a specific video because the problem doesn't replay (it plays randomly). But I found a way to reproduce the issue. I type "TheRollingStones" into a YouTube search, for example, and then I go to their channel. The main page features a channel trailer (the problem is clearly visible when visiting such channels).

*Only applies to videos with ads. I'll try uploading a video with the issue. The trailer for the "Queen" channel doesn't have ads, so the issue doesn't occur.

I was then given the steps I needed to follow.

1. Create a new Firefox profile. Do not sync data from a previous profile. Do not make any changes to the default Firefox settings.

2. Install uBO in the new Firefox profile. Do not make any changes to the default uBO settings. Do NOT install any other extensions!

3. Disable ALL content blocking products/services such as DNS/VPN, Pi-hole, hosts file modifications, anti-virus or internet security software, etc.

4. Restart your computer/device.

5. Without logging in to YouTube, test using the new Firefox profile.

6. If everything works properly, then log in to your YouTube account using the new Firefox profile and test again.

After that, I cleared cookies, cache, and other data in the new Firefox profile, just in case. I restarted the browser and checked. The error persists.
