In subplot mode, the
subplotmodule overrides thegmt_set_undefined_axesfunction's correctly set "WrbNZ" axis configuration for polar projections, resulting in lost longitude annotations.Adding polar azimuth projection detection (
GMT_POLARandgmt_M_is_azimuthal) to the subplot skips the axis override logic for polar projections, preserving the correct "WrbNZ" axis configuration.Fixes #8866
