New concept page: concepts/how-graphify-finds-dependencies (Core concepts, after Edges and provenance). Covers tree-sitter/AST parsing, conservative name resolution, provenance tags (Local EXTRACTED/INFERRED/AMBIGUOUS mapped to the Console's extracted/inferred/synthesized/observed), cross-repo call and same-type linking, Leiden grouping and hub ranking, where a model IS used, and limits (dynamic, external, framework callers).

Fact-checked against graphify OSS (extract.py, symbol_resolution.py, cross_repo_calls.py, cross_repo_types.py, cluster.py, analyze.py, llm.py, dedup.py), the backend build envelope, and the Console's supported-grammars list (63 = 36 tree-sitter + 7 dedicated + 20 generic).

Updates prev/next links on provenance and outputs; links from architecture and provenance. Do not merge without review.

Graphify reviewed this change.

No issues found by static checks — no coupling regressions or blocking issues in the code graph. That is not the same as safe to merge: see what was not checked.

Not checked: tests were not run; no formal proof of the changed code.

Graphify review — findings

Adds a dedicated page that walks through Graphify’s deterministic pipeline: tree-sitter parsing, name resolution to single declarations, provenance tagging on every edge, cross-repo linking, and Leiden/Louvain grouping with hub ranking. The page now surfaces the three labels (EXTRACTED, INFERRED, AMBIGUOUS) and their visual styles, plus the exact places a model is used and the flags (--code-only, --no-label, --dedup-llm) that skip them. Architecture now points readers to the new page for the detailed flow; everything else remains unchanged.

No blocking issues surfaced. 1 lower-confidence candidate did not survive cross-model review.

Analysis details — impact, health, verification

Impact & health

Graphify review

Impact — 118 functions depend on the 118 functions this change touches.

Health — grade A; 1 existing hotspot(s) in the area this change touches (pre-existing, not introduced here):

  • options — 0 callers, 8 callees (medium)

Verification — 118 functions in the blast radius were not formally verified this run (proofs are advisory here).

Gate & verification

graphify gate

PASS — objectively clean (no health regressions, tests not run — proofs not run this pass (advisory)). Grounded, not self-assessed.

Advisory (not blocking):

  • verification_scope: 118 function(s) in the blast radius were not formally verified this run
