MCRIT (MinHash-based Code Relationship & Investigation Toolkit) is a framework for code similarity analysis: it indexes disassembled samples on a server and matches functions and basic blocks against them with exact (PicHash) and fuzzy (MinHash) matching. This plugin connects Binary Ninja to an MCRIT server.
Export SMDA reports from Binary Ninja's own analysis and upload them to MCRIT.
Match the current function or basic block against the MCRIT database, on demand or as you navigate.
Review sample-level matching results, fetch function labels and import them for unnamed functions.
Open remote functions as graph reports, with matched blocks tinted there and, through a render layer, in Binary Ninja's own graph and linear views.
Build YARA strings from the current selection.
Requires Binary Ninja 6.0 (build 10601) or newer and an MCRIT server (mcrit, or the docker-mcrit stack). Python dependency: smda>=4.9.0. License: GPL-3.0.
The same repository also ships the MCRIT plugin for IDA Pro, released under ida-v* tags; those releases are never marked latest, so the latest release is always the Binary Ninja one (currently 1.0.1).
