Great AI guidance. Looks correct, have not tested other than testing your curl example.
While you're at it editing AGENTS, I have found Claude constantly wanting to write code with fully qualified package instead of adding an import. This causes errorprone to barf, which is often not caught until CI since it is off by default.
So a note under "Code Quality and Best Practices" heading perhaps
- Prefer adding an 'import' over using inline fully qualified package name for classes
