The development for Envelope Zero started when @morremeyer did not find an envelope budgeting tool that worked like he wanted to and was Open Source.
By now, there is at least one tool that does, Actual Budget. Since developing and maintainng software needs a lot of work and therefore time, and there is already a project that does what we want, we have decided to stop the development of Envelope Zero.
If you want to migrate to Actual Budget, you can find a migration tool with instructions in the actual-importer repository.
