Summary

Updates all Windows and Linux release communications across the website to reflect a Q2 2026 timeline, replacing vague "coming soon" language and outdated specific dates (e.g. "March 2026"). Changes span 26 files: 20 blog/article MDX files, 2 docs MDX files, and 4 TSX route files (download, free, enterprise, engineering pages).

Key changes:

  • "Windows coming soon" / "Windows/Linux coming" → "Windows and Linux coming in Q2 2026"
  • "Windows is planned for March 2026" → "Windows and Linux are planned for Q2 2026"
  • FAQ docs updated from "no timeline to share" to explicit "Q2 2026"
  • Some articles previously implied Linux was already available ("macOS and Linux only") — corrected to "macOS only currently"
  • iOS references removed from several CTA lines that previously said "iOS app and Windows version coming soon"

Review & Testing Checklist for Human

  • Verify iOS mention removal is intentional — several articles previously mentioned "iOS app coming soon" alongside Windows; those iOS references were dropped. Confirm this is desired.
  • Verify Linux availability correction — some articles previously said "macOS and Linux only" (implying Linux was shipped). These now say "macOS only currently". Confirm Linux is indeed not yet available.
  • Grep for any remaining stale references — run grep -ri "coming soon" apps/web/content/ apps/web/src/ to check for any missed Windows/Linux instances.
  • Spot-check rendered pages after deploy: /download, /free, /enterprise, /solution/engineering, /docs/getting-started/installation, /docs/faq/general

Notes

  • The use-platform.ts hook (waitlist messaging for Windows/Linux visitors on the homepage) was not changed — it doesn't include timeline language, just "Join the waitlist and get notified as soon as the app is released."
  • The README.md in the repo root already had "q2 2026" and was not modified.
