Menu bar utility that adds Finder context menu actions and lets you toggle them from the menu bar.
- Finder right-click tools:
- New Text File
- New Terminal Here
- New iTerm2 Window Here
- Open in Visual Studio Code
- Copy Path
- Batch Rename
- Toggle items on/off from the menu bar popover
- Optional launch at login
- Hide/show the menu bar icon
- Welcome and “What’s New” onboarding
- macOS with Finder extensions enabled
- iTerm2 optional (only required for “New iTerm2 Window Here”)
- Launch Finder+ and click the menu bar icon.
- In the popover, click Allow Full Disk Access and grant access in System Settings.
- Click Allow Extension and enable the Finder+ extension.
- Toggle the Finder menu items you want to use.
- Right‑click in Finder to access your enabled tools.
- macOS 13+: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access
- macOS 13+: System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions → Extensions → Finder
- macOS 12 and earlier: System Preferences → Security & Privacy → Privacy → Full Disk Access
- macOS 12 and earlier: System Preferences → Extensions → Finder
- If “New Text File” fails in a protected folder, grant Full Disk Access and try again.
- iTerm2 actions will be disabled if iTerm2 isn’t installed.
