fix: safer logging, working setup on macOS, current SDK - #29

Conversation
- Stop logging tokens, claims and the user's profile in app.py. - Fix /api_demo crashing when you're not signed in, and don't crash the other pages if user info can't be loaded. - Add .env to .gitignore so Kinde secrets don't get committed. - Run on localhost:5001 by default (port 5000 is taken by AirPlay on macOS, and the app must be opened on the same host as the redirect URI). - README and .env.example: use KINDE_HOST and SECRET_KEY, which the SDK actually reads, and drop variables nothing uses. - Require kinde-python-sdk ~=2.4 and Flask-Session >=0.6.0 (Flask 3 support), skipping the broken 0.7.0.
📝 WalkthroughWalkthroughThe starter kit updates its SDK environment setup and dependency constraints. Its routes now use shared authorized user data, and the helper no longer logs profile or token details. ChangesStarter kit configuration and authentication

Filter the Kinde SDK logger before authenticated requests.
kinde_oauth.get_user_info() still logs the complete user-info response at INFO, including profile fields such as email. The PR removes application-level sensitive logs but leaves this SDK log, so the safer-logging change remains incomplete. Configure the Kinde SDK logger itself at WARNING or higher.
This SDK behavior predates the PR; the change reduces duplicate exposure but does not remove the remaining SDK log.

What
A few fixes found while testing the Kinde Python SDK with this starter kit.
app.pywas logging the ID token, access token, claims and the user's profile at INFO. Those lines are gone./api_demono longer crashes when you're signed out. It returned a 500 error; it now shows the sign-in page like the other pages. The other pages also no longer crash if user info can't be loaded..envis now in.gitignore. Before, git add .would commit your Kinde secrets.localhost:5001. Port 5000 is taken by AirPlay on macOS, which returns a 403 on the callback. Also, the app has to be opened on the same host as the redirect URI (localhost, not127.0.0.1), or the login fails with an invalid state error..env.examplenow setsFLASK_RUN_HOSTandFLASK_RUN_PORT, soflask runjust works..env.exampleuse the right variable names. The SDK readsKINDE_HOSTfor login (the README saidKINDE_DOMAIN) andSECRET_KEY(the README saidFLASK_SECRET_KEY). Variables that nothing reads are removed from.env.example.kinde-python-sdkgoes from~=2.0.8(which never picked up 2.1 or later) to~=2.4.Flask-Sessiongoes from~=0.5.0to>=0.6.0,!=0.7.0,<1.0.0: 0.6.0 is the first version that supports Flask 3, and 0.7.0 breaks the filesystem sessions this app uses. This matches the range the SDK is moving to in fix(packaging): add flask-session to [flask] extra, drop unused deps kinde-oss/kinde-python-sdk#208.Testing
In a fresh virtualenv with dummy credentials:
pip install -r requirements.txtinstalls kinde-python-sdk 2.4.0, Flask 3.0.3 and Flask-Session 0.8.0.flask runstarts onhttp://localhost:5001./,/details,/helpersand/api_demoall return 200 (/api_demowas a 500 before), and/loginredirects to Kinde.If you already use the starter kit
Update your
