@jshaw thanks for your submission, and apologies for the delay in review - I've been away from the computer for much of the last two months.

I see that in the basic example, there is a pathway for the example to run in preview mode if no devices are registered - that's great. Unfortunately when I run it, an error occurs. I've imported all dependent libraries. What version of Processing did you test this one such that it worked? I'm currently using v4.5.6.

EDIT: sorry, my bad, was in the wrong mode. It works for me now.

Hmm, when I tested it a few months ago, everything was running. I'm just checking now with/without DMX controllers connected and with the newest Processing version - I currently have a few different Processing versions installed locally, so maybe that is the issue?

Hello @jshaw , I see you host the download of your library on your Github Pages - as long as you will always do this, that works. Is this something that happens automatically when you release a new version - that it updates the file in your Pages?

Another option, since you use Github releases for this library and your release assets include the zip file, is to use the latest release download url from github (https://docs.github.com/en/repositories/releasing-projects-on-github/linking-to-releases), as the download url. so that would be here https://github.com/jshaw/Canvas2DMX/releases/latest/download/canvas2dmx.zip.

@jshaw , what I'll do is merge the PR as is. If you decide at some point to change the download url, all you need to do is create a new issue for us to update the url in the database, and to also update it in the properties file in your repo and release.
