Yes, if we can get a maintainer to merge on Monday. One thing we need to sort out first, though: per the OTel blog's cross-posting guidelines, we need to decide which version is canonical. Whichever one publishes second will need to cite the first as canonical (via a canonical URL tag, plus a note + link back to the original) to avoid SEO issues from duplicate content. Can we agree now on which should be treated as the "original": OTel or Prometheus? That'll decide which one needs the canonical tag (and/or cross-linking) added before it's merged. |

But I will need to get the non-canonical project to agree that they are non canonical, I guess. @nwanduka @ArthurSens Would it be OK for you to have the Prometheus blog as the non-canonical one? If yes, I will add the link and tag. |

I'm okay with it. Just to point out: There's no way to add the canonical tag in the Prometheus blog right now. I'll open a PR to fix this soon. But for this post, a note and a link referencing the OTel post should suffice. |
