How to clean up temporary files when opening a VS Code workspace? #14989

Closed as not planned

Description

@leanhdung1994

I use Quarto in VS Code on Windows. Is there a built-in Quarto setting, CLI command, or VS Code integration that cleans up stale Quarto temporary files when I open a folder as a workspace?

If Quarto doesn’t provide this, what approach would you recommend?

    I also suggest you update your post with information such as your environment, the version of Quarto CLI, the "quarto" VSCode extension, etc. as suggested in the discussion template.
    This will help us help you.

    Meanwhile, these dot folders can simply be deleted by you.
