This replaces the usage of `BaseExtension` with `CommonExtension` and `ApplicationExtension` in `WireBuildPlugin`, updating property accessors for `compileSdk`, `defaultConfig`, and `lint` to match the modern API. FIXES: Issue square#3371 TESTED: ./gradlew clean check
